"i lay in partial slumber
slipping down into further visions of half existence"

sometimes if i lie awake for long enough, i begin to see things that aren't really there.
there are apparitions haunting the veil between wakefulness and sleep.
some of them aren't aware of me, and they dance on, into and out of the walls of my bedroom.
a few of them seem to know i'm here, awake and looking, approaching, but only ever so close before disintegrating into the veil.

somniconsciousness is an album that reaches out as a point of contact to these beings. i feel that, if i listen closely enough, i might find a path between my hypnagogia and the realm of true sleepfulness, where i may finally meet these ghosts of my own perception.
